L’Officina is the signature restaurant of Winter Garden Hotel, a four-star property located in Grassobbio (Bergamo), recognized as a leading destination for hospitality, dining, and events in the local area.

To support lunch and dinner services as well as peak operational periods, we are seeking a restaurant host / hostess to join our team under an intermittent (on-call) employment contract.

The role

The successful candidate will become part of a structured, dynamic, and guest-focused environment, working closely with the restaurant, kitchen, and hotel reception teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

  • Welcome guests and manage front-desk restaurant operations;
  • Handle telephone and online reservations;
  • Coordinate table assignments and guest flow management;
  • Provide operational support to the dining room team;
  • Manage cashiering activities and guest payments;
  • Assist guests with requests and special needs;
  • Facilitate communication between restaurant and hotel departments;
  • Support basic administrative and back-office activities.

Requirements

  • Good command of the English language;
  • Proficiency in standard computer applications and reservation systems;
  • Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Working schedule

  • Lunch service: approximately 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM;

  • Work schedules planned according to restaurant operations and event requirements.
